COVID Protocol: Public Testing Positive

The following is protocol for jurors serving in the District of Nevada who have symptoms or test positive for COVID-19 after visiting one of the Courthouses:

  1. Verify the federal courthouse where you served:
    • Lloyd D. George Courthouse, 333 Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas
    • Bruce R. Thompson Courthouse, 400 S. Virginia St., Reno
  2. Jurors involved with grand jury proceedings should contact the jury administrator:
    • In Las Vegas, please call 702-464-5600, option #0
    • In Reno, please call 775-686-5847, option #0
  3. Jurors involved with jury trials should contact the courtroom deputy assigned to the judge presiding over the trial or the jury administrator
  4. Provide the following information:
    • Suspected or confirmed COVID-19
    • Date symptoms started (approximate)
    • Date of exposure (if known)
    • Date of test results
    • Last date in the courthouse and any other dates in the past two weeks
    • Locations visited (jury office, grand jury room, floors, courtrooms, clerk’s office)
    • Specific individuals in contact with while at the courthouse
