Prior to filing your lawsuit, please follow the following steps.
Step 2: Does the Federal District Court of Nevada have proper “venue” over your claims?
The next step is to determine where you should file your lawsuit. This is called “venue.”
Press the “venue checklist” button and you will be taken to a list of questions to determine if federal court in Nevada is the proper venue, or court, for your lawsuit to be filed in.
If, after filling out the “venue checklist” form, you believe that the Federal District Court of Nevada would be the proper venue for your claims, proceed to Step 3.
