Hello, my name is Adam Shaw. I am 12 years old, and just finished sixth grade. I have a lot of hobbies/interests. One thing that I love more than anything else is reading. Reading a book is like opening a portal to a new world with endless possibilities. Books can come in all kinds of different genres, many of which have intrigued me at one point or another. I love all sports, but my favorite is football. I play wide receiver on my 12U football team. I enjoy writing if it is creative writing, where the limit is your imagination. I think that creative thinking is important, because it really develops your mind and even intellectual capabilities. While playing video games all the time may seem fun, it just limits the time that you have to develop your mind. If you look at all of the great inventors/entrepreneurs, the reason they became so famous, was because they made thinking out of the box a habit. If no one was ever creative, we would still be living life very 4000 BC style. We wouldn’t have microwaves, electricity, not even potato chips! So…THINK CREATIVE!
