COVID Protocol: Public Testing Positive

The following is protocol for members of the public who were recently at a courthouse in the District of Nevada and subsequently test positive for COVID-19:

  • Notify Human Resources at 702-464-5458 and provide the following information:
    1. Name of federal district courthouse visited:
      • Lloyd D. George Courthouse, 333 Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas
      • Bruce R. Thompson Courthouse, 400 S. Virginia St., Reno
    2. Date of exposure, if known
    3. Date of test results
    4. Last date in the courthouse and any other dates in the past five days
    5. Case name and case number, if applicable
    6. Locations visited (floors, courtrooms, clerk’s office, probation office, pretrial office, jury office, etc.)
    7. Specific individuals in contact with while at the courthouse
  • If you have not already done so, immediately contact local health officials:
    1. Las Vegas – Southern Nevada Health District
    2. Reno – Washoe County Health District
