New Administrative Fee for Civil Actions
Effective May 1, 2013, pursuant to Judicial Conference Policy, all federal courts will begin charging a new $50 administrative
fee for filing a Civil Action, Suit or Proceeding in a District Court, in addition to the $350 filing fee for a total of $400.
This new administrative fee does not apply to persons granted in forma pauperis status under 28 U.S.C. ยง 1915.
